Morning Glory Mondays 11:30am-1pm: For children who are crawling or walking:

This 90 minute class for a parent with their baby meets weekly for 12-24 weeks. In a supportive community for sharing, this class explores various themes related to the growth, development, and parenting of the very young child. Parents or caregivers pay special attention to a child's interests, developing movement abilities, social interactions, and problem-solving skills. Parents learn songs, lullabies, and games to play with their babies and develop their ability to quietly observe and interpret babies’ movements, gestures, and vocalization.

Morning Glory Tuesdays 11:30-1pm: For babies 4 weeks to 6 months ( or until mobile)

Morning Garden Tuesdays: For children 27 months - 36 months by September 1, 2016
Current Class FULL (Inquire For Fall 2017- Spring 2018)

Our Tuesday morning class is for children and their parents or caregiver. This two hour class meets from 9 a.m.-11a.m each Tuesday.  Morning Garden is both an intimate playgroup for parents with young children, as well as an introduction to Waldorf Education in its earliest classroom setting. Our mornings together are arranged as a balance between imaginative free-play, and teacher led moments in which the whole group participates.  The children are supported in their play as they develop social skills. Parents hone their observation skills, while engaging in meaningful work and community.  All transitions between activities are graced with a song as we create a rhythm of quiet and active experiences for the children.  The parent/caregiver and children will share a simple snack before the morning ends with a walk in the woods.

A Note About Class Size:

Morning Glory: open to five children and their parent/caregiver
Garden Gate and Morning Garden: open to seven families and their parent/caregiver

The classroom space is very tight with these numbers.  I do value when both parents want to attend class as it is helpful to both parents to be united as they craft a family culture.  The ability to accommodate more than one parent in class is handled on a case to case basis for the Morning Glory and Garden Gate classes.

Morning Garden is at its absolute maximum at 7 enrolled with one child and one parent/caregiver attending.  There is simply not room around the classroom table to accommodate more families or additional parents for the shared snack time.
