Waldorf Parent & Child classes are specially designed to engage infants and toddlers to age three. Working through the developmentally appropriate means of touch, movement, and imitation, teachers lead parents and their children to explore the world around them through multi- sensory collaboration. This exploration offers a healthy balance between the child’s essential, natural initiative for independence and a safe introduction to peer cooperation.
Our Morning Garden Parent and Child Program, designed for children walking through three years of age, welcomes little ones with their parents into a warm and beautiful environment full of play, song, meaningful work, and community.
Morning Garden is both an intimate playgroup for parents with young children, as well as an introduction to Waldorf Education in its earliest classroom setting. Our sessions are arranged to create a balance between imaginative free-play, in which the children use their own initiative, and structured activities, in which the whole group participates. All transitions between activities are graced with a song as we create a rhythm of quiet and active experiences for the children.
Register for 12 weeks in the Fall or Spring or register for a full year. We accept credit cards and checks. All fees are non-refundable. See links below to register online with a credit card. To pay by check, please click on our Morning Garden Brochure

In this class both teacher and parent/caregiver engage in purposeful activities that guide and inspire children in their play. Children engage in homelike tasks while learning how to be an individual in a group setting. Relevant topics such as sleep patterns, nutrition, and creating a healthy and harmonious rhythm for your child are discussed. We will learn songs, stories, make simple craft projects, and share a wholesome snack together. Facilitated by experienced Early Childhood teachers Kyle Dunlap and Kathleen Stone-Michael.
