- Child visit to the classroom for one hour
- Submissions of Enrollment Agreement and Deposit within two weeks of acceptance
Grades 1-8
- Parent attendance at Open House or Campus Tour
- Submission of the following:
- Application and $50 fee
- Student Interview form
- Academic/Health/Immunization Transcripts
- Submission of a reference form from the most recent teacher
- Parent-teacher interview
- Child visit to the classroom for three days (grades 1-8)
- Kindergarten child applying to grade 1 for the following year spends one morning in the kindergarten
- Submission of Enrollment Agreement and deposit within two weeks of acceptance
High School

- Parent and student attendance at an Open House or a Campus Tour.
- Submission of the complete application as indicated on TADS. This includes all transcripts and teacher recommendations.
- Student interview and Parent(s) interviews within the 3-day visit to high school.
Pre-K/Kindergarten - Four years of age by September 1st
Grade 1 - Six years of age by June 1st
Applicants to the pre-k/kindergarten must present a certificate of immunization as outlined by the NCDHHS for 4 year-olds. Applicants to the kindergarten must have obtained the remaining schedule of immunizations due between the 4th and 5th birthdays and file a copy with the school. Admission to the pre-k/kindergarten program does not guarantee future admission to grade 1. Evaluations for promotion to the elementary school take place each spring.
Admissions Dates
Mid-January - Visits and interviews begin (pre-k/k-grade 12)
Mid-March - New decisions announced, enrollment materials mailed (pre-k/k-grade 12)
Early April - Enrollment materials and deposit due to EWS
Admissions for the current year are considered at any time, if there is space in the class. Please contact the Admissions Office with questions.
Probationary Period
Each student is subject to a probationary period, which begins upon initial enrollment and ends four months later.
