jon-013_300dpi.jpgJohn Cunningham, skilled Non-Violent Communication (NVC) trainer and Waldorf teacher, will be at Emerson Waldorf School in Chapel Hill, NC on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 to talk about how to connect more deeply with children, family, and friends by practicing a special method of communication called Compassionate Communication, also known as Non-Violent Communication.

Compassionate Communication/NVC is about…

  • Meeting one another in a new way.
  • Giving and receiving real understanding.
  • Fostering the quality of connection that enables everyone’s needs to get met through natural giving.
  • Recognizing the universal humanity in every human being, whether family or strangers.
  • Creating a new social impulse based on the practice of empathy.
  • Realizing the potential for social beauty within our communities.

About John Cunningham:
Cunningham trained individually with NVC founder Marshall Rosenberg in 1999 and became a certified NVC trainer in 2000.
