Hearts Committee - This committee is responsible for welcoming new parents to the school, thank faculty and parents for work done, organize teacher/staff appreciation days (fall and spring), and coordinate help for community members in times of need. Contact Katherine Pratt for more information.
Hands Committee - This committee organizes whole-school work days and puts together plans for playground, landscaping, and carpentry projects. Contact Charlie Viles for more information.
Holiday Faire - Our annual Holiday Faire has many facets to the organizing, decorating, and planning. It’s an incredibly worthwhile and rewarding volunteer opportunity. Contact Leigh Sparacino for more information.
Development Committee - This committee is responsible for the Annual Fund and fundraising events. Contact Karla Boyce-Awai for more information.
Enrollment and Marketing Committee - The committee’s volunteers can choose from a variety of areas to assist: campus tours, event booths, website maintenance, ad design, organizing and creating public events. Contact Paige Chandler for more information.
Library Maintenance - We are so fortunate to have an enormous library collection for our community to use. Volunteers help to catalog and organize our lending titles. Contact Dee Anne Lamb for more information.
Coffee & Tea Morning Table - This is a fun volunteer opportunity that allows community members to meet and greet the EWS parents every morning in the gazebo for coffee, tea, and baked goods. Volunteers are asked to volunteer just 1 morning per week. Contact Pat McKenzie for more information.
Gardening Volunteers - Help grow, sell, eat, or write about the Emerson Waldorf farm garden. Just a stroll away from the main campus, our beautiful garden grows and we have many opportunities for families to learn about biodynamic gardening through a variety of tasks. Mary Beth Mueller for more information.
