Alumni Spotlight- Cooper Harris

Do you ever wonder where a Waldorf education will take a student?

We recently celebrated an Emerson Waldorf School alumni visit from Cooper Harris, a Los Angeles-based entrepreneur and CEO of Klickly. Klickly is an impulse-payments platform. Emerging as a pivotal figure in the Los Angeles tech scene, Cooper has been nominated for Google's "Young Innovator" award, L'Oreal's "Digital Woman of the Year," Cartier's "Women's Initiative Award" and named by Adobe as a "Top Thought-Leader" at Cannes Lions. She is a contributor to Forbes and HuffPost and has been featured in Inc., Entrepreneur, Mashable and Women2.0 and more.

Cooper was interviewed by VoyageLA in Venice and highlighted the impact of her experience at Emerson Waldorf School. She says the education “ is rigorous and requires that kids really, truly understand what they’re learning, not just memorize for tests.”

Congratulations Harris, and we look forward to your next campus visit!
