Annual Events …
MAGIC MORNINGS - These are special seasonal events held in September and November beginning with a puppet show at 10:30am for the whole community. From 11am-12pm, we invite parents and their children to visit our classrooms and take the opportunity to speak with our Early Childhood teachers and Admissions Director about our nursery and kindergarten programs.
ANNUAL HOLIDAY FAIRE - In December, we encourage families to attend our Annual Holiday Faire any time from 10am-4pm. There are wonderful crafts and activities for everyone to enjoy for this festive event. (Registration Not Required, Ticket Sales for Activities on-site).
WALDORF EDUCATION DAY - Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 9am-1pm, enrolled parents and prospective parents are invited to experience a morning as a Waldorf student. Choose from an array of classes and workshops facilitated by our faculty from nursery to high school on a variety of topics and skills. From water color painting to Bal-a-Vis-X experience to a Waldorf High School chem or bio class...we will have it all. A grounding experience for our current families to confirm why they are here and an inspiring experience for newbies to understand why Waldorf works!
Campus Tours
WHY WALDORF WORKS CAMPUS TOUR There is no better way to learn about Emerson Waldorf than to see it for yourself! We can't wait to show you our beautiful, vibrant campus. Tour the grounds while you learn about the history of Waldorf and feel what its like to be a student here. We're sure that once you have the chance to step into the classrooms, you will want your family to be part of this nurturing, holistic community. The tour is typically scheduled 8:30am-10:30am and begins at the lower elementary school parking lot. This tour is for parents only. The Early Childhood campus, at least 3 lower school grades, with a visit to the high school, woodworking shop, handwork room, and music room will be included. You will receive a packet of information, including an Admissions Process checklist. Click on the "Schedule a Visit" button above for tour registration.
HIGH SCHOOL VISITOR MORNINGS are for parents interested in Grades 9-12 only. This visit is scheduled on an individual basis with inquiring parents and their high school student. Visitor mornings are 8:00am-10:00am Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Observe 3-4 Main Lessons and speak with our College Counselor and High School staff about our program.
